Student's Life

Students of the International School Of Medicine are coming from various countries with their own different cultures, perspectives, and lifestyles. The principal goal of the faculty and management is to help them to accommodate to the new environment. Sometimes simplistic information about housing, food, shopping, postal, and bank services is essential to keep students working.

→ International School Of Medicine provides the opportunity to live in school hostels and rent apartments. However, we advise choosing dormitory options for students of the first years of study. Additional information about housing can be obtained below.
Although modern connection skills highly depend on the internet, postal and courier services remain essential. Many couriers and insured services are available to transfer documental and non-documental goods. Along with the well-established EMS postal assistance, others like DHL, Blue Dart have always been available. International School Of Medicine students can get any postal correspondence and any other messages delivered to the International School Of Medicine headquarters, which dispatch them safely to the concerned.

→ There are many international and national banks in Bishkek. However, students principally use their country bank accounts for money transactions through Visa, Maestro, or Master debit cards from many ATM scattered all over the port. They can also open personal bank accounts in the banks based in Bishkek to make necessary transactions. Money transfer methods like Western Union, Money Gram, Migos, and others can help in any money transfer across the world.

→ We are trying to minimize the risk that can affect a student’s health, and we recommend students to take care of themselves while making their transactions. We ask a medical checkup for each student yearly that is conducted in our academy. Additional information about health services and the emergency can be found here.
